iPod TV

Everyone has their own music/soundtrack preferences. TV is slowly, very slowly, making the transition to internet. For example, basically everyone from college I know only has a TV for playing Xbox and Wii. When will the transition be far enough that they make it possible for viewers to choose from various different audio experiences for watching shows?

Or, for that matter, to choose little details in lighting, dialogue, etc.? There are tons of variations of how a tv show can go without changing the basic plot or making it a choose your own adventure (which would require too many active choices to make it a tv show vs. a video game anyways).
